December 28, 2017 VU
Are you using Word 2007? Now you can create and edit documents more easily from anywhere, on any device, with Word 2016.
With an Office 365 subscription, you can install the all-new Word 2016 along with the other Office apps—including PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote—on multiple PCs, Macs, and other devices. You get 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage per user, 24/7 tech support, and more.
Word 2007 features and highlights
Modern file format
- An XML-based file format makes Word 2007 document files smaller, more robust, and more integrated with information systems and external data sources than before.
- The new format also supports new features like SmartArt Graphics.
New user interface
- Office 2007 introduced the Office Fluent user interface, with the ribbon replacing familiar menus and toolbars. The ribbon contains commands, styles, and resources arranged on tabs.
- The Quick Access toolbar provides access to frequently used commands in Word 2007, no matter which tab of the ribbon is active.
- The Office Button in the upper-left corner replaced the old File menu and contains basic file management commands.
Improved document features
- Building blocks let you add preformatted content to documents for a more polished look.
- SmartArt makes it easier to create colorful diagrams and lists to graphically present information in your documents.
- The Document inspector lets you check a document for hidden metadata, personal information, or other content that may be stored in the document.
- An improved spelling checker is more consistent across all Office 2007 programs.
- Bibliography and citations features make it easier than before to insert citations, bibliographies, lists of works cited, or a legal table of authorities.

MathType Equation Editor with Register Key
December 27, 2017 VU
Entering Math by Hand: Enter equations as easily as you would write math with paper and pencil! This feature uses the built-in handwriting recognition in Windows 7 and later.
Point-and-Click Editing with Automatic Formatting: Create equations quickly by choosing templates from MathType's palettes and typing into their empty slots. MathType applies mathematical spacing rules automatically as you type.
Keyboard Shortcuts: Save time using keyboard shortcuts. MathType has customizable keyboard shortcuts for virtually every symbol, template, and command.
Type TeX or LaTeX: If you already know the TeX typesetting language, you can enter equations directly into MathType or Microsoft Word documents. TeX editing can be mixed with point-and-click editing so you get the best of both worlds. You can even paste in equations from existing TeX documents.
Copy and Paste: If you created a MathType equation for use in another application or found one on a website, why take the time to create it by hand again? Simply copy and paste it directly into MathType, and it is ready to edit or use in your work.
Save Expressions in the Toolbar: Drag frequently used equations and expressions to the MathType toolbar so they can be inserted later with just a click or a keystroke.

VLC Player Download
December 26, 2017 VU
Title: VLC Media Player 2.2.8
(32-bit and 64-bit )
Requirements: Windows XP / Vista /
Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10 / Windows 10 64-bit
Languages: Multiple languages
License: Open Source
Date added: December 5, 2017
VLC Media Player is the most popular and robust multi format, free media
player available. The open source media player was publically released in 2001
by non-profit organization VideoLAN Project. VLC Media Player quickly became
very popular thanks to its versatile multi-format playback capabilities. It was
aided by compatibility and codec issues which rendered competitor media players
like QuickTime, Windows and Real Media Player useless to many popular video and
music file formats. The easy, basic UI and huge array of customization options
have enforced VLC Media Player’s position at the top of the free media players.
Flexibility
VLC
plays almost any video or music file format you can find. At its launch this
was a revolution compared to the default media players most people were using
that often crashed or displayed “codecs missing” error messages when trying to
play media files. VLC can play MPEG, AVI, RMBV, FLV, QuickTime, WMV, MP4 and a
shed load of other media file formats. For a full list of compatible file
formats please click here. Not only can VLC Media Player handle loads of
different formats, VLC can also playback partial or incomplete media files so
you can preview downloads before they finish.
Easy to Use
VLC’s
UI is definitely a case of function over beauty. The basic look does however
make the player extremely easy to use. Simply drag and drop files to play or
open them using files and folders then use the classic media navigation buttons
to play, pause, stop, skip, edit playback speed, change the volume, brightness,
etc. A huge variety of skins and customization options mean the standard
appearance shouldn’t be enough to prevent you choosing VLC as your default
media player.
Advanced Options
Don’t
let VLC Media Player’s simple interface fool you, within the playback, audio,
video, tools and view tabs are a huge variety of player options. You can play
with synchronization settings including a graphic equalizer with multiple
pre-sets, overlays, special effects, AtmoLight video effects, audio spatializer
and customizable range compression settings. You can even add subtitles to
videos by adding the SRT file to the video’s folder.
Summary
VLC
Media Player is quite simply the most versatile, stable and high quality free media
player available. It has rightly dominated the free media player market for
over 10 years now and looks like it may for another 10 years thanks to the
constant development and improvement by VideoLAN Org.
